It's 45°C outside. The AC shouldn't be the problem. A sealed system doesn't use up gas, so if yours needed a top-up, there's a leak somewhere, and it will be warm again soon.

We leak-test the system and check the compressor, condenser and cooling fans, then repair what's failing before we regas. We also check the heater system while the car is in.

How often should the AC be regassed in Dubai?

Only when it's low, and then the real question is why. A healthy system is sealed, so lost gas means a leak. We find the leak first, because a top-up without a repair only buys time.

Why does my AC only cool while I'm driving?

Usually it's airflow across the condenser. When the car stops, the cooling fan has to do that job alone, so a weak fan or a clogged condenser shows up in traffic first.
