Heat is hard on car batteries, and in Dubai they often fail with little warning. A test shows how much life is left before the car refuses to start in a car park.

We test the battery, the cables and the charging system, because a weak alternator or a corroded terminal can flatten a new battery too. If the battery is weak, we replace it.

When it’s due

  • Before summer, if your battery has already been through a few.
  • As soon as the engine turns over slower than usual. That's often the first warning.
  • After the car has been parked for weeks, for example over the summer holidays.

Why do car batteries fail sooner in Dubai?
