A minor service covers the oil, the filters and the checks listed below. A major service follows the longer list your service book gives for that mileage, which can add spark plugs, a fuel filter, brake fluid or gearbox oil.

We service all makes: European, American, Japanese and Korean, many of them past their dealer warranty and spending the summer in stop-start traffic. Tell us the model and mileage, and we'll tell you which service is due.

When it’s due

  • At the distance or date in your service book, whichever comes first.
  • When the service indicator on the dash says it's due.
  • When you've just bought a used car and don't know when it was last serviced.

  • Engine oil and oil filter changed
  • Air filter and AC cabin filter cleaned or replaced
  • Gearbox fluid level and condition checked
  • Brakes inspected and brake fluid topped up
  • Coolant level checked and topped up
  • Power steering fluid topped up
  • Tyre condition checked and pressures set
  • Battery tested
  • Service indicator reset
  • Car washed before you collect it
