Sun and sand dull paint and leave fine scratches that washing won't remove. Machine polishing takes a very thin layer off the clear coat to bring back the gloss.

Inside, dust gets into the seat seams, the carpets and the vents, and we deep clean all of it. Once the paint is corrected, a ceramic coating or paint protection film helps keep it that way, and window tint cuts the heat and glare coming into the cabin. What's the difference between polishing and ceramic coating?

Polishing removes fine scratches and haze by taking a very thin layer off the clear coat. A ceramic coating goes on after that and protects the finish. It doesn't remove scratches itself, so the paint is corrected first.

Can polishing fix peeling clear coat?

No. Once the clear coat lifts or goes chalky, the panel needs to be sanded and resprayed. That's a job for our paint shop.
