Heat, sand and stop-start traffic are hard on engine oil. We drain the old oil, fit a new filter and refill with synthetic oil, then replace the air and cabin filters that Dubai dust clogs.

While the car is in, we inspect the brakes and set the tyre pressures. If the old oil comes out thick or sludgy, we'll recommend a flush.

When it’s due

  • At the distance or date in your service book, whichever comes first.
  • When the oil service message appears on the dash.
  • Many handbooks list a shorter interval for severe conditions: heat, dust and stop-start traffic. Dubai driving usually counts.
